OpenOffice 1.1.1 Changes

OpenOffice 1.1 is pretty good, and OpenOffice 2.0 will be fantastic when it comes out late in 2004, but in the meantime, OpenOffice 1.1.1 is coming. In fact, as of March 1st 2004, a first release candidate was made available for testing, so the release might happen sometime later in March.

Closed Issues

I wanted to get a feel for what improvements are in OpenOffice 1.1.1, so I put together an overview of the bugs that were resolved (fixed or otherwise), broken down in two ways. The table entries are counts as of March 1st, 2004; click on the count to see a detailed list (and click on that to drill down to individual issues).

(Note: these are the resolved issues in the real OpenOffice.org bug tracking system; the data is a bit untidy, so you might have to play with it for a while before you get a feel for what it means.)
